Mission Statement:

I entertain, empower and educate pet friendly audiences; of all breeds.

Donna has been published in local newspapers, the Bastrop Advertiser and Smithville Times.  She has written cover stories for the magazine Real Estate Executives.

Donna is a member of the Writers’ League of Texas.  She is also a member of the Austin-based Toastmasters group Laughing Matters, who focus on the funny.

To date, she has won two Best Humor awards for her speeches:

• Green acres
• I know my limit

and one for her stand up comedy routine:

• Static electricity

Donna continues to “study the pros” as she hones her humorous writing and speaking craft.  She utilizes her farm living, critters and colorful experiences to entertain, empower and educate; but most importantly, provide a little stress relief to others.

Donna and Maverick, her husband of 18 years, live in a stylish barn on 30 acres in Texas with their critters; 4 dogs and 3 cats.  They have created a “retirement home” for their 32 goats, after realizing although they consider them “family”, others consider them “supper”.
